★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 二天門の建設は嘉永元年(1848)頃と推定されています。桁行 (正面) 三間、梁間 (奥行) 二間の八脚門で、中央は約4m、両脇は各 約2.4m、合計 8.8mです。 屋根の側面は、切妻造りで、虹梁 (こうりょう) が二段になった二重虹梁式です。虹梁と虹梁の間には蟇股を配し、二番目の虹梁の上には、大瓶束とその両脇に笈形を置きます。両脇間にニ天の像が立っています。向かって右が持国天、左が多聞天（毘沙門天）とのことです。
The construction of Nitenmon is estimated to have been around 1848. It is an eight-legged gate with three rows of girders (front) and two rows of girders (depth). The side of the roof is gabled and has a double rainbow girder with two steps of rainbow girders. A crotch is placed between the rainbow beams, and on the second rainbow beam, a large bunch and a kettle on both sides are placed. A statue of Niten stands on both sides. 朱色が美しい。
祖師堂の手前に位置している二天門は、1840年に建立された古い門です。総門や方丈門と異なり、朱色に塗られて様々な彫刻が施されています。平成になって大改修が行われ往年の色鮮やかさを取り戻しました。
この門は一般的な寺院の仁王門にあたりますが、祀られているのは持国天と多聞天です。そのため、二天を祀る門ということで二天門と名付けられました。二つの仏像はそれぞれ足元に邪鬼を踏みつけています。

Vermilion is beautiful.
Nitenmon, located in front of Soshido, is an old gate built in 1840. Unlike the Somon Gate and Hojo Gate, it is painted in vermilion and has various sculptures. In Heisei, a major renovation was carried out to restore the vividness of the previous year.
This gate is the Niomon gate of a typical temple, but it is enshrined in Jukokuten and Tamonten. Therefore, it was named Nitenmon because it is the gate that worships Niten. The two Buddha statues are stepping on evil spirits at their feet.

二天門への石段の下には、杉の巨木が２本あって、その横で二天門を見上げながら手を拍つと、一瞬遅れて、こだまとなって帰ってきたという。龍の彫刻の前で手を拍つと龍が鳴き声をあげるという「鳴龍」の伝説も残されている。

持国天と多聞天の二天が祀られている二天門。
手前の石段と周りの新緑が綺麗でした。
近づくと祖師堂前の色鮮やかな桜と海棠が見事なコントラストに。
