H	H. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prices can get expensive if you end up getting too many drinks and premium goods like fresh squid. Sashimi was fresh and beer was good. Please note this is a smoking allowed establishment. Staff are not fluent in English so please bring yourself a translator or have a translation app installed on your phone.
C	Clayton New York on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unusual culture experience where you can eat fresh squid sashimi. There is a squid tank in the store, the waiter brings a squid for your approval, before cutting it up. The tentacles come in a dish separately and move wildly as you pour soy sauce on them... There is no English or picture menu, and the waiters only speak Japanese. For a medium size squid sashimi, a fried squid, a bakes squid, 5 small fish, and a fish fried rice came to 9000 yen, was more than enough for 2 ppl. Best to make reservation. The restaurant was completely full, and multiple ppl were turned away while we were there after work.

And dinner in here was the most memorable food we have eaten while traveling. We not only ate delicious food but were given their warm hearts. We were sooooooo impressed. We will never forget them.

It is like a hole in the wall restaurant. By the way, google has not updated the map for this restaurant. It is directly across from what shown on google. About 20’ ride from Shinjuku Station, I think it was on 2nd or 3 rd floor. We had fresh squid ( like Alive squid), medium sashimi plate ( more than enough for 2 people), grill quid, good size of sake. The whole meal was less than $80. Appetizers and hot tea was free. Our waiter looks like a real samurai. By the way, they speak little English there, but good enough to order food and have a good time.

The 6000yen course with 2.5 hours of all you can drink is a bit expensive, but everything tasted good. Especially the tempura squid and squid Sashimi. Perfect for a company party of 10-20ppl! The otoshi or table charge snack were boiled peanuts. Super salty....but they want you to drink lots of alcohol maybe?

The place should be specialized in IKA (squid) but when we went here to eat IKA, the had only on kind left. It was on Saturday evening not so late. They should change the name.... The other food was good, but not much different than a normal Izakaya.
