★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool ski museum detailing the history of skiing in Japan, as well as the Nagano Olympics. Some English, however not much so you'll have to google translate a fair bit of it. Still impressive however.

- history of ski, amazed at all the wooden skis on display
- rich collection of winter Olympics memorabilia from all over the world
- challenges and success of hosting 1972 Sapporo and 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics
- various contraptions to survive, walk, work and enjoy snow activities
- development of Nozawaonsen from an onsen village to world class ski resort
