S	Shayne Coomber on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great sized mountain with a lot of hidden treasures. Not the steepest hill but there is a lot of variety. Lots of new infrastructure like a new Gobdola, and it is better maintained as a resort than probably every other mountain in Japan.
K	Kristin P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing ski resort and super cute village and town. Went skiing on Sunday and it felt relatively empty. Parking is 1000 yen, but you can ski from the lot right to the lift. Many restaurants and cafes to try on the slopes. Overall, an amazing place!

Super friendly area. The top of the mountain has the best terrain when there's snow. EDIT: that's not true :) Challenger. Utopia. Skyline. All have amazing powder runs.

M	Monica Trautman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing powder, great facilities and a new gondola with an amazing view of the mountains. Dogs are welcome at this snow resort and it was really cute to see huskies and their owners enjoyings the green runs together.

B	Brittany on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful snow resort. It was my first time skiing, and it's very beginner friendly. We had a blast! Hiromi from Snow Crystal Yoga and Wellness organized our whole trip, arranging our rentals, lessons, and ski passes. Highly recommend using her services if you don't want the hassel of arranging everything, especially if you don't speak Japanese well.
M	Michael Mauer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great ski resort, easily accessible from Tokyo (shinkansen and then express bus). The slopes are great and the town itself is very quaint with tons of onsens and great restaurants. No problem if you speak no Japanese either. Only real complaint is that some of the connectivity between lifts is a bit weird. There are a number of "connector" lifts to help get you over little ridges so sometimes instead of just skiing down to the lift you want, you have to skate for a bit and take another short lift. Also, wouldn't necessarily recommend this place for total beginners since there's not a lot of ways for beginners get off the top of the mountain. (There are ways though so it's not a deal breaker). Terrain park options are also a bit slim. Overall though, I'd still highly recommend this resort.
