★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 無料で結構楽しめるが周りに何もない為、京都市内からわざわざこれだけの為に来るより何処かに行ったついでに寄る方が良いでしょう。
You can enjoy it for free, but there is nothing around, so it would be better to stop by after visiting somewhere from Kyoto City rather than coming for it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 記念館は古い洋館で毎週金曜日だけ開放されているようです。記念館の中はグンゼの歴史等をみることが出来るのですが、グンゼの歴史と共に日本の紡績の歩みと興亡を見ることができるので紡績に興味がある人は面白いかもしれません。洋館としてはこんなもんかぁという感じで一回見たら十分って感じでした。
The memorial hall seems to be open every Friday only in the old Western-style building. Inside the memorial you can see Gunze's history, etc. However, you can see the history and progress of spinning in Japan with Gunze's history, so anyone interested in spinning may be interesting. As Western-style building, it was feeling that it was enough if we looked at once with such feeling that it was monka.

古墳、福知山城など来ていましたが
初めてグンゼの記念館に入りました。
無料とは知らず特した気分です。
まゆから糸を使用するじたい凄いと思いました。
