★ ★ ★ ★ ★ サクラのころはきれいなところですが、近くには駐車スペースはほとんどありません。
歩くのが苦痛でない人なら青少年の森の駐車場から登ることも可能です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 仙台市北東部から利府町にかけての、仙台平野を望む山上に築かれており、東西700m、南北200mの規模をもつ。急峻な地形を利用した天険の要塞で、標高107mの最高所を中心として大小の平坦面や空堀が丘陵尾根上に整然と配置されている。各遺構の保存状態は良好である。中世において宮城郡一帯を支配した留守氏に関わる城と考えられている。また、足利尊氏・直義の争いに端を発した観応の擾乱に際し、観応2年(正平6、1351)奥州管領吉良氏・畠山氏の合戦場となったことは史上著名である。
It is built on a mountain overlooking the Sendai Plain from the northeastern part of Sendai City to Rifu Town, and has a scale of 700m east-west and 200m north-south. It is a fortress of the heavens that uses steep terrain, and flat surfaces of various sizes and empty moats are neatly arranged on the hill ridge centering on the highest point at an altitude of 107 m. The preservation condition of each remains is good. It is believed to be a castle related to Mr. Rusu, who ruled the entire Miyagi district in the Middle Ages. In addition, it is famous in history that it became a battlefield for Mr. Kira and Hatakeyama of Oshu Kannō in the 2nd year of Kannō (Shohei 6, 1351) in the wake of the disturbance of Kannō that originated in the conflict between Takauji Ashikaga and Naoyoshi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021/5/20岩切城址の歴史散策参加。
草木に埋もれた中世の山城だが土塁、堀切、郭等の遺構が見られる。さらに観応の擾乱により足利尊氏執事高師直と直義が衝突し、畠山高国親子と吉良方の軍勢が戦いがあった所。懸命に生きた武士の姿が偲ばれる。ガイドの松本忠雄さんのフルートによる鎮魂曲「ハンガリャ田園幻想曲」も良かった。
2021/5/20 Participated in the history walk of Iwakiri Castle Ruins.
Although it is a medieval mountain castle buried in vegetation, the remains of earthworks, Horikiri, Guo, etc. can be seen. Furthermore, due to the disturbance of the sensation, Takauji Ashikaga's butler Kono Moronao and Naoyoshi collided, and the army of Takakuni Hatakeyama and Kirakata fought. The figure of a samurai who lived hard is remembered. The requiescats song "Hangalya Rural Fantasy" by the guide Tadao Matsumoto's flute was also good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ すばらしい山城。広い空間もあるので、山上居住もあったのではないだろうか。遺構の残りもとてもよいです。駐車スペースが少なかったかな。

仙台を一望できてながめのいいところです。なのに何故に桜の名所にならないか？=> 専用駐車場はなく入り口に車を2～3台しか止められないのです。駅から遠いし、、、、
運よく車をとめられてもお酒は控えめにね、足元にきをつけないと山から落ちちゃいます(冗談ではありません)。

It is a good place to see Sendai. Why not become a cherry blossom spot? => There is no private parking lot and only a few cars can be stopped at the entrance. It's far from the station ...
Even if you are lucky enough to stop your car, you should drink sparingly, and if you do not step on your feet you will fall from the mountain (not a joke).

国指定史跡に指定されており、公園として整備されている。
訪れた時期が悪く、夏草が伸びまくっており、以降の確認が困難だったが、堀切が確認できた。
The residence of Mr. Date and Mr. Rusu.

The time I visited was bad, and the summer grass was growing, so it was difficult to confirm after that, but I was able to confirm Horikiri.
