★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 義経と弁慶が力比べをした石で、ここにあるのは義経が投げたとする石です。
弁慶が投げたとする石は中学校の裏門の校庭の外真正面に在りました。
弁慶の石は持ち上げられる人がいるかもしれないと思いましたが、義経の石は人が持ち上げられるとは考えづらいものでした。
義経と弁慶が力比べの後日談として、弁慶石は畑で土に埋もれていたそうです。弁慶が畑の持ち主の夢枕に立ち、石を掘り起こしてほしいと願ったといわれています。夢に従い、畑の持ち主は石を掘り起こしたそうです。それ以降、義経石と弁慶石は「神」として大事にされてきたといわれています。
義経石は生協の敷地内にありフェンスに囲まれていますが、フェンスがちょっとあいていて、石の近くに行けるようになっていました。、
