宮村郷社御山八幡神社境外末社。社傳に、羽床庄司資高の妻懐妊の時天神地祇に祈りて賢兒を得んことを乞ふ。時に神告あり、資高神告に従ひ祠を建て王子大権現と稱して之を祀る。羽床氏代々崇敬厚かりしが、天正年間同氏没落の後里人安産の神として祭祀すといふ。全讃史に「王子権現在 羽床上村 此祠主天照大神五男神 乙武河内主之」と見ゆ。
