当寺は天文年中（1532年）に羽床伊豆守資載の内室キヌによって現在の地に創建致しました。
キヌは西長尾城主、長尾大隅守の娘で非常な烈婦で且つ法華宗の熱烈な信者でありました。
法華宗の高僧日傅上人を師として仏門に入りひたすら三宝に帰依し朝に夕に伊豆守の武運長久と国土豊饒を祈りました。特に本法寺を創建後は経唱題を怠り無かったと伝えられています。
内室キヌは天正十四年（1586年）歿 法諱は本法院殿妙隆日栄大姉
小さな寺院ですが綺麗にされており気持ち良いお詣りさせて頂きました。

This temple was built in the present location by Kinu Uchimuro of Hadoko Izumorisuke during the astronomical year (1532).
Kinu was the daughter of Nishinagao Castle Lord, Nagao Osumi Mamoru, a very fierce woman, and an ardent believer in the Hokke sect.
He entered the Buddhist gate under the guidance of a high priest of the Hokke sect, Nichito, and devoted himself to the three treasures. In particular, it is said that he did not neglect the chanting title after the construction of Honpo-ji Temple.
Kinu Uchimuro was in the 14th year of the Tensho era (1586).
Although it is a small temple, it has been cleaned and I am happy to say that it is a pleasant prayer.
