イオンタウン綾川のすぐそばにある神社です。八坂神社の総本山は、京都府京都市東山区祇園町北側にある神社です。旧社格は官幣大社で、現在は神社本庁の別表神社。
全国にある八坂神社や素戔嗚尊を祭神とする関連神社（約2,300社）の総本社であると主張しています。通称として祇園さんや八坂さんとも呼ばれる。祇園祭（祇園会）の胴元としても知られる。
この神社もその流れを組むものだと思います。

It is a shrine right next to Aeon Town Ayagawa. The head temple of Yasaka Shrine is a shrine located on the north side of Gion-machi, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture. The old shrine was a large shrine, and now it is a separate shrine of the Association of Shinto Shrines.
It claims to be the head office of Yasaka Shrines and related shrines (about 2,300 companies) whose deities are Susanoo-no-Mikoto. Also known as Gion-san and Yasaka-san. It is also known as the body of the Gion Festival (Gion-kai).
