★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 県道17号線府中造田線を南に進み山田下の国道377号線の三差路手前の西側にある寺院です。
こちら法導寺は高野山真言宗の寺院ですが開基等は不明です。ご本尊、地蔵菩薩立像は鎌倉時代初期の製作とされていますから、かなりの時代のある寺院だと考えられます。

国指定重要文化財 木造地蔵菩薩立像
宝冠も載かず綬帯も付けず左手に宝珠、右手に錫杖を持ち蓮花座の上に静かに立っている声聞形(僧の姿をした)の像である。
総高９５、８㎝ 檜材の一木造りで内ぐりが有り背板が打ってある。
慈悲円満な面相、均衡のとれた像形
優美な彩色衣文の柔らかみ等、藤原末期と思わせる鎌倉初期の作である。
台座は当初のものであるか、あるいは損傷のまま年を経たものか。
持ち物と光背は後の補作である。
元禄十四年(1701年)阿野郡南大庄屋、水原半十郎(牛川)、片山庄兵衛(羽床)の発願によって本堂が建築された。
享保七年(1722年)半十郎の寄進によって龍燈院綾川寺法院快厳が修理し入仏開眼したと云う墨書銘有ります。こちらの法導寺は現在不住職であり色々とお聞きしたかったのですが残念です。
It is a temple on the west side of Yamadashimo National Highway 377, just before the three-way junction, heading south on Prefectural Road 17 Fuchu Zoda Line.
This is a temple of the Shingon sect of Koyasan, but its opening is unknown. The statue of Jizo Bodhisattva, the principal idol, is said to have been made in the early Kamakura period, so it is considered to be a temple with a considerable period of time.

National Important Cultural Property Wooden Jizo Bodhisattva Statue
It is a voice-shaped statue (in the shape of a monk) standing quietly on the lotus position with a jewel in the left hand and a tin cane in the right hand, without a coronet or a sash.
The total height is 95,8 cm. It is made of cypress wood and has an inner hole and a back plate.
