★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山登りは全く興味ありませんでしたが……有酸素運動の為に東根山に登りました。標高は1000㍍ない山。私には丁度良い道のりでした。
I was not interested in climbing at all, but I climbed Mt. Higashine for aerobic exercise. The mountain is not 1000 meters above sea level. It was just a good way for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 東根山の7合目辺りかのう。登山口からジジィの足で登って1時間30分。左側に巨大な岩。近づいて角度によっては蛇頭に見える。ここからの景色もなかなかじゃ。
Around the 7th station of Mt. Higashine. It takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to climb from the trailhead with Jiji's feet. A huge rock on the left. It looks like a snakehead depending on the angle. The scenery from here is also quite nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hebiishi Observatory is a stop on the way to the top of Mt Azumane in Shiwa. You can see a rock sitting on top of another proped up by a single smaller rock between. It kind of looks like a granite table. Also if you want about 30 meters to the left, you'll get one of the most spectacular views of the valley below. It's easy to miss with full foliage in summer, I missed it on my first ascent.
