I visited the day before October 10th, the last day of the fantasy stadium in Kyoto. I was overwhelmed by the work of Ito Jakuchu. The view from the cafe is very popular. み	みきみき on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ エスプレッソカフェが見えたら右に、もうそこが福田美術館。川を眺めながら昇る階段は古都にいながらにして近代的。今日の出展は虎とネコ。大橋膵石の虎が圧巻。こじんまりしていて、ゆっくり見て回れます。桂川に渡月橋。素晴らしい景色に恵まれた美術館。中庭の池は桂川と一体化して見えます。そんな風景を見ながらカフェでゆっくり過ごせました。５時閉館でラストオーダーは４時半まで。 When you see the espresso cafe, you will see the Fukuda Art Museum on your right. The stairs that go up while looking at the river are modern even though you are in the ancient city. Today's exhibition is a tiger and a cat. Ohashi pancreatic stone tiger is a masterpiece. It's small and you can look around slowly. Togetsukyo Bridge on the Katsura River. A museum blessed with wonderful scenery. The pond in the courtyard looks integrated with the Katsura River. I was able to spend a relaxing time at the cafe while watching such a landscape. The museum closes at 5 o'clock and the last order is until 4:30.
p	pe_ sak on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 嵐山の渡月橋を渡り川沿いに少し歩くと可愛い美術館が現れます。モダンな建物です?今回は京都の商家に生まれた近代の京都画壇を代表する一人である、木島櫻谷さんの作品展です。大型の屏風をはじめ、掛軸に画かれた虎や鹿等、動物画や翁、娘等の人物画が展示されています。こちらでは撮影okで（但しフラッシュはng）ゆっくり心ゆくまで拝見する事が出来ました☺️ 美術館にはカフェも併設されていて、少し休憩する場所があるのも嬉しいですね? There also have a collection of nihonga from Meiji through Shōwa periods. No permanent exhibitions. Visitors are allowed to take pictures of most artworks, something that is very rare in Japan.
