森	森昭二 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 武将で茶人の古田織部の美術館です。私が訪ねた時には「もう一人の茶道大成者－古田織部」という展示が行われていました。織部の茶碗や茶道具は本当に四百年前の人が作ったものなのかと思うぐらい現代的であり、前衛的ですね。ショップに織部の黒織部六波図茶碗を模したぐい飲みがあったので買いました。このぐい飲みも沓茶碗のように歪んでいます。家に帰って、いざお酒を飲もうとすると「このぐい飲みはどこから飲んだらよいのか」という疑問が湧きました。そう思いながらも使い続けていると、意外とハマるかも・・・これが織部が沓茶碗に込めた狙いだったのではないでしょうか！ちなみに次回の展示は５月23日より始まります。タイトルは「桃山一のかぶき者とは誰か？－慶次か、道八か、それとも織部か？」です。こちらも面白そうですね。また見に行こうと思います。 It is an art museum of Oribe Furuta, a warrior and teaman. Since it is 500 yen, if you are interested in Furuta Oribe or the tea house, you might want to stop by. It may be related to the fact that the Omotesenke Kitayama Kaikan is nearby.

Furuta Oribe's related items are on display. The exhibition space is small, so if you want to see it roughly, it's quick. It's been about an hour since I watched each one. There are gourmet and sweets shops, a botanical garden, and the Kamo River nearby, so you can take a walk.

An absolute masterpiece of jaw-dropping proportions. This place is a must visit for anyone interested in the history of the Tea Ceremony. For everyone else however, might not be worth the trip.
