★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a nice Tadao Ando design, a breathing art space near kitayama station, just next to kyoto botanical gardens. You can go several times just passing through when you walk out the station and it would be worth it every time. It’s 100 y and you get massive reproductions of classical art pieces in a beautifully designed and modern outdoor space. So basically go asap!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Little gem close to the Botanical Garden, completely worth the 100 yen fee! This place is for me a perfect interpretation of a super-modern Zen garden, matching human nature and human ability in transforming the space and having it all perfectly merged into the city context.
Don't miss this experience.
