★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me an my Wife visited this place after finding the recommendation in Japanese. They serve many delicious noodle dishes and their udon are handmade and delicious! They make Sanuki like Udon! I recommend their dipping (tsuke) Udon or yuzu ramen! If you visit please be a mindful guest and accept the fact that you are in a Japanese local restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing dinner in Kyoto. This place is full of locals (away from the constant influx of tourists). Yuzu ramen and chicken Curry are a must. One of the best dinners I've had in my Japan trip. They have an English menu and vegetarian only (tofu) options. Highly recommend!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice small place that can fit about 20 people at max. Very popular with locals around lunchtime. We had Curry udon and it was good. Meals for two people were very affordable at approx. 3000 yen.

A lot of soup selections and the taste is beyond expectation especially the soup with lemon which provode refreshing taste.
The curry soup with beef also one of the good choice for those who love curry base.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cold udon is very nice. Price is reasonable. I rate it as 4 instead of 5 stars because the restaurant inside is smoky. Smoking is allowed at dinner time. Actually it becomes a Japanese pub in the evening. Better go for lunch for non smokers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food, excellent service. Would recommend coming here especially if you’ve a craving for udon and a pint of iced cold beer. All served at reasonable prices for its location.
If you’re looking for drinks, pints of Sapporo are discounted from 5-7pm.
The tables and chairs are a little low though, so tall people be mindful.
