★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is famous among the local, we found it via tabelog website, it is one of the famous okonomiyaki restaurants in japan, and of course it has already have hundreds of good reviews. okonomiyaki & monjayaki are fantastic. they have menu in english too. Worth to be tried.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice tucked away, hole in the wall kind of restaurant vibe. They have English menus and the servers are very friendly! Had both the monjayaki and okonomiyaki , if you have a hard time trying to cook it yourself the servers are more than happy to help guide you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Menu is rather limited and star dish here is of course the monja. Rather similar to okonomiyaki but different at the same time. It is like Vegetable based pancake, slightly mushy and wet from the broth and cabbage, but yet crispy on the edges. Not sure if we even cooked it right! But it was a whole dining experience on its own :) you’re your own Chef! Every dine in adult is expected to order a main each.

We were foreigners and ignorant of how to make monjya and okonomiyaki (pancake), but the staff were really helpful. They provided a short English menu and a staff helped us make the monjya and okonomiyaki.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first Monja experience!! In Asakusa there's loads of Monja restaurant but I chose this want because the reviews. We even booked a table but around 6pm is not really busy. The owner is so kind and always hospitable.
I could enjoyed a delicious seaweed Monja.
If you don't know how to make it, the menu includes instructions with pictures to make it. And in English.

I tried the curry flavour and it was delicious
The okonomiyaki and the beer cost me about 1600 yen

I didn’t know how to make this food, but my friend living in tokyo explained the way.
We ordered two more foods.
Monjayaki, okkonomiyaki, yakisoba, monjayaki with myungran ( korean word )
We were really full and washed all the dishes.
