E	Elisabetta Grosso on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Foreign tourists should double (if not triple) check the bill. To be fair, the monjayaki was really good and the prices were average, so why a bad review? Because we were extra charged of about 1000 JPY and did not know why. We asked to check the bill, as it was not correct, and they change it. Unfortunately, even the second total was higher than the prices listed on their menu. Furthermore, the price of the beer is different on the English menu (higher than the one on the Japanese one). Eventually we were finally able to pay what we had to, but we got no explanation at all. My Japanese is not that fluent, but I do understand menus and what's written in Kanji. That's why I suggest that foreign tourists should check very well the bill, if they want to enjoy their monjayaki. As for me, I will probably go to another restaurant, next time.

I went in the late afternoon and they had run out of a lot of ingredients, which is normally fine, but the annoying part was that they had to come to us three separate times with us having to change our orders after learning they'd run out.

Kids love frying their own noodles (with friendly staff's help) and we love our okinomiyaki. Staff gave kids fridge magnet as a souvenir when we left overall a great & fun experience.
R	Ramona-Doug West on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Your choice of sitting on floor or chair, which is good because I recently injured my foot, and even though I tried, I couldn't cope on the floor, the staff quickly recognized my discomfort and ushered us to chairs. You do cook your own food on a large steel griddle but the friendly staff came to my aid when I was obviously looking lost. The instructions have pictures but there is a method to let it cook and steam off for the crispy cheese condition to enjoy it best. It is a popular place and we had to wait, but I was glad for it was more than worth it. Why all the gourds because that's what Hyautan means and I will remember it as one of the best places I ate at during my first time in Japan.

E	Eric Wang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the 淺草 street, we found a traditional Japanese food restaurant　ひょうたん. The waiter is super hospitable. There are different cooking method for different dishes. Whenever you have question, just raise your hands. The most important things are food taste good and price are around 1000~1500 Japanese yen.
