■神戸事件発生地碑三宮神社境内南隅に高さ２m越えの石柱がある。神戸市が昭和17年(1942)5月建立｡「史蹟神戸事件発生地」と刻んだ石標で標札もある｡慶応4年明治元年(1868)1月11日に備前藩の行列を横切った外国人を無礼と傷付けて生じた事件､大政奉還直後の外交問題｡明治維新の早々当神社前で突発した日本外交史に特筆さるべき事件｡備前藩士の滝善三郎正信(32歳)は責任を一身に負い兵庫永福寺で見事な切腹をして事件は一応の落着をみた｡慶応4年(1868)2月9日『きのふみし夢は今更引かへて、神戸がうらに名をやあげなむ』辞世の一首を残し切腹は深夜になる｡伊藤俊輔(博文)が立会い､壮絶な最後に介錯で首が落ちた後、同席していた外国人武官7名は無言で立ち去った｡ ●他府県はさて置き､地元神戸っ子中高生には是非とも若い内に話して､入れておきたい郷土史｡下手をすれば神戸は占領されていた､実際に六カ国陸戦隊が進駐するかのようにあって､戦だ！と恐れて人が散ったと云う｡
