歴史散策で知った境界標。
場所は金シャチ横丁（義直ゾーン）の北側、土手。
建立は、昭和27（1952）年、サンフランシスコ条約に起因。
戦後、米軍（GHQ）キャンプ「キャッスルハイツ」との境界に打たれた、コンクリート杭。
境界標には、日本語と英語が刻まれている。
キャッスルハイツの西側、白川公園には当時、アメリカ村があり、いずれも昭和33（1958）年に返還された。
 [Historic heritage]
The boundary mark that I learned from a historical walk.
The location is on the bank to the north of Kinshachi Yokocho (Yoshinao Zone).
The construction was due to the San Francisco Treaty in 1952.
After the war, concrete piles were struck on the border with the US military (GHQ) camp "Castle Heights".
Boundary marks are engraved in Japanese and English.
At the time, there was an American village in Shirakawa Park on the west side of Castle Heights, and all of them were returned in 1958.
