★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't have much historical knowledge for this temple or 伊達政宗 but the temple by itself was very beautiful and interesting. Wish i could've taken pictures inside the temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's cost you @700 yen for enter. The inside of mIn temple is so historical content and not allowed to take a picture. It you have interest in Japanese construction, it's fine but if not just you waste money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful temple atop a hill! en route you will pass by a cemetery. The tombstones are in immaculate condition! The temple is in great condition, obviously great care has been taken in maintaining it. the view towards the Bay is fantastic from this high up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Tempel in matsushima. It's the old clan building of the Date clan. It is famous for its amazing art style and their beautiful wall screens. The entire Tempel is a journey into the old clan times of Japan and give a glimpse into those times. If you have the possibility to visit, you should!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The building is well maintained with a lot of details to see. I would recommend people to stroll slowly to absorb the atmosphere. Entrance fee is 700 yen. No photo is allowed inside the main building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not gonna lie had very low expectations but I was so wrong this place is magnificent. The approach with the cedars flanked by mystical meditation caves is iconic. Museum is magical and of course has a lot of Date Masume memorabilia. The inside of the kondo is magnificent but you can't take pictures so you'll have to trust me. I wanted to take a sneaky one but I didn't have to courage... Sorry ?
