It is a treasure house attached to the grounds of Zuiganji Temple. Crafts such as paintings and books related to the Date clan and roof tiles excavated from Zuiganji Temple are on display. It is located on the grounds of Zuiganji Temple, but no admission fee is required (^^) There are many variations of exhibits, so it is an interesting and enjoyable facility.

Invokes a sense of magic. This Temple is surrounded by nature above and below, and stone statues that are very old. I was blown away by the amazing experience!

A historical temple, you can take a short and round trip outside for free or paid for 700 yen to enter this tiny temple. Expect to take shoe off ( they have slippers for visitors, worry not ) for the main temple, and photography inside of several building are forbidden. In walking distance to both train station, so you can come to here from Sendai station with ease (about 40+ minutes on trains)

Definitely a place worth a visit. No photography is allowed. The ancient caves outside the temple seem interesting. It can be a very pleasant walk on the way to the temple. There's another sidewalk on the right of the temple that has several eateries and shops. This museum showcase the history of the temple. It's all in Japanese although the temple itself has English explanations on the wall.
