"Oigawa River and Kagerō Nikki" For some reason, I personally like "Kagero Nikki" (Michitsuna Fujiwara), and in particular, the unconventional marriage proposal of my husband, Fujiwara no Kaneie, and the exchange of songs with Michitsuna Fujiwara at that time are comedy touches in a sense. And interesting. (?) The next morning, when the two of them repeatedly asked and answered the song, they finally signed a contract, a song from Kaneie. "The more you wait for the flowing car in the evening, the more tears you can get into the river" (Fujiwara no Kaneie) (The pain of parting this morning with you for the first night is to you again Meet again long-awaited the evening, have flooded it becomes a Tomedonai tears. / Weekly see Japanese classics) On the other hand, a woman "Thinking and the evening twilight of the river is not in my heart." (Michitsuna Fujiwara) (For the first time in Aise, my thoughts were constant, and I became crying without knowing that it would be evening twilight./See the weekly Japanese classics) The two started out in this way, but after that, it became a difficult marriage with only jealousy and resentment of a high-ranking woman.

Katsura River Katsura River → Oiyan River → Hozu River → Oiyan River → And this name will be changed again to Katsura River near Arashiyama Togetsukyo Bridge. Since it is complicated, the official name is unified by Katsura River, but the names of Oyan River and Hozu River are familiar and are still used. Clearly there seems to be no formal division of this name from here to here. Even so, the river names in this Google map are not reliable... ^^; Katsura River shows wonderful scenery in various places.

It is a river famous for Togetsu Bridge in Arashiyama. It is a first-class river that goes down from here and joins the Uji and Kizu rivers after passing the Kyoto racecourse and becomes the Yodo river. The view of the river from Togetsukyo Bridge was very beautiful, and I went there in the summer, but it was well ventilated and I was able to cool down while listening to the sound of the murmuring of the river. If you go further upstream from Togetsukyo Bridge, you can take a boat and cross the Katsura River. I gave up because there was a great line when I tried to go. I will revenge when I come next time.
