(吉成公民館も同じ境内にあり神様と共に生活を営んでいます)
｢吉成神社」の鳥居の左側柱に(享保~)
の文字があるので江戸時代中期には立っていたのですね。
境内は吉成自警団の火の見櫓(鉄骨用)が1台が立っています。出火の際には参集を報せるサイレンを吹鳴させる箱が鉄骨の柱に取り付けられています。一番に駆けつけた人がボックスを開けてサイレンを吹鳴させる運びとなるようです。ホース収納箱も公民館の外壁に見えています。
｢吉成神社」は自警団にまず最初に火災からしっかりと守られています。
