It is a quiet and good temple despite the densely populated area near Tottori City Miho Stadium and Miho Elementary School. You can park 20 cars including the parking lot in front of Miho Elementary School.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ｢吉成寺」の所在地区は千代川に注ぐ大路川と新袋川とに挟まれた下流の平坦地に位置します。水害に度々悩まされた苦い経験を持ちながら、近くには美保公園や球場、市民体育館、造成振興住宅地等が共存しています。
そんな環境下にある曹洞宗の古刹として｢吉成寺」は檀家の信仰心の核心として静かに鎮座しています。
寺全体のオーラが寺の参拝者をそのような気持ちに導いています。
12月中旬の昼下り、境内の墓所では工事が成されて石が削られているような音が聞こえています。新しくされているのか修理を施せれているのか、どちらかなのでしょうが、どことなく境内の中にも年の瀬を感じました。
今年一年が無事に過ごせたことに感謝して合掌です。
The location where “Kisenji” is located is located on a flat area downstream of the Oji River and Shinbukuro River that flow into the Chiyo River. Miho Park, a stadium, a civic gymnasium, and a development promotion residential area coexist in the vicinity while having a bitter experience often suffered from flooding.
In such an environment, as a burial mound of the Soto sect, Yoshinji is quietly enshrined as the core of the Dan family's faith.
The aura of the entire temple leads the temple worshipers to such feelings.
In mid-December, at the graveyard in the precincts, you can hear the sound of a stone being cut due to construction. It may be either new or repaired, but somehow I felt the year in the precincts.
I am grateful to have been able to spend the year safely.
