★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Left our place in Shijo Omiya hungry and looking for some good foods...and happened to stumble upon this "hole in the wall" after spotting it on google. What can I saw, it blew us away...
Sure, Ippudo and Ichiran taste great - but this is like the nicer, less packed, and more affordable brother. Amazing pork broth, chashu slices (they are big and hearty!) with amazing side dishes and drinks. Plus they have a small side bar of pickled dishes - which also tastes amazing ?
Would definitely come here for thirds (seconds already planned). We additionally ordered karaage chicken, gyoza, a Don, and shuhai drink - which only added to my world class E set ramen + egg ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While in Kyoto for 2 weeks, my Fiance and I stopped in here for some lunch. The service was VERY friendly and fast. The food was amazing. So much so, that I occasionally dream about it! We can't wait to come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice little ramenya serving pork ramen with a very tasty broth. The staff was very friendly.
During our visit, there was some funky japanese music playing in the background adding to the authentic atmosphere of this place. Worth a visit when you are near Nijo station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best ramen I had in Kyoto, everybody is so friendly and also the menu is available in English too! The ramen and the other dishes are so delicious, there is a small open bar if you´re really hungry even when the service is fast!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ramen is very delicious, I ordered the recommended tonkotsu ramen with eggs at 780 yen per bowl. The noodle seems to be more Hakata style to my limited knowledge and is thinner than other ramen. The broth is delicious with a lighter taste than generic tonkotsu broths. There is a table where you may help yourself freely to heaping piles of tsukemono, pickles and minced pork! The prices of other items on the menu like their rice bowls are also all very affordable at around 400 yen. Will definitely come again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am writing this before sitting on the counter waiting for my food .... the anticipation is killing me. Is the broth as good as written by other reviewers? Is the pork the melt in your mouth type?
Condiments are unlimited ...that's a good sign. Haven't had breakfast so I am free of any judgement ...
Ok I am back. Hands down. The. Best. Broth. Ever.
It's everything the other reviewers said it was.
My stomach is sloshing full with the soup. Didn't spare a drop in the bowl.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yoshiharu is the heavyweight champion of ramen!! I dare anyone who might think this is an overstatement to try it for themselves. You will not be disappointed! The food is great, the staff are friendly and all for a more than reasonable price. They also have an English menu but you could literally walk into this place an order anything - everything on the menu is Insanely good! 5 stars!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ramen was top notch, great flavour to the broth and nice tension to the noodles. Great range of different options on the menu as well. The side dishes which can tend to be an afterthought in other places are delicious in their own right. Also they have a station to help yourself to as much different type of pickles as you would like!
