★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is clean and the staff gave us a warm welcome. Unfortunately the food wasn't any good and the price makes it even worse. I had the Udon Curry Soup and it looked and tasted like it came from from a cup of bad instant noodles. You can eat it, though. If you don't find any thing else that is open I'd recommend to grab a rice balls from FM and wait for 2 hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived here after a long walk in southern Higashiyama, hungry and tired. Nice place, the staff is friendly. We recommend the Nishin Soba (soba noodles topped with fish), a strong flavor but I suggest you try it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasty herring soba and rice bowl. Large portion for me. But a bit difficult when you come with large group since the place is very small. We were rejected but then we wait for 15 min and got some empty seats available.

The music is traditional Japanese music! Even alchole drink is available and Omakase(Chep recommend dish) is cheap!!
I order the Oyako donburi and the taste was AWESOME(For me)! But soba has scorched smell. Should know this.
My girlfriend order the cold soba with tempura and she likes too!
