J	Jeff Thomas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found this place as it was one of the few places that was open late on a Sunday night. It is small. The food was well prepared by the chef. We enjoyed Hida Beef. My wife had the hamburger and said it was much better than she had in Kyoto probably due to the Hida beef. I had a more traditional cut. The Hida beef is definitely worth trying. Melt in your mouth goodness. It was a lovely experience. They have a globe in the restaurant and we were asked to put a red dot from where we were from. It was a lovely meal, reasonably priced.

They asked where you were from on the globe and used a translator for conversation. I would definitely recommend. One of my highlights from Takayama!!

I went back again it was so good. The staff was friendly and fun as well. Takayama is filled with other lunch spots that charge significantly more. This place was a gem. Arigatō Gozaimasu
