Supreme delicious yakiniku in town!! We went there in the afternoon and waited an hour to get a table. It worths waiting! We tried the hida beef combination set of many parts of beef with the price of around 7500 yen for two persons. Although the price is quite high, you pay what you get. The beef quality is supreme. When I ate it, it was melted in my mount without any chewing. Wasabi or salt is going well with the beef. But, when I ate too much, my mounth seemed so oily. We finished the meal with orange sorbet served on the orange peel. The taste is also good! I definitely come back there again. They also sell beef for customers. Marble Hida beef set is totally recommended with kimchi. Do not grill the beef to much!! ????

Best Takayama Hida beef for japanese BBQ. We have order a mixed grade beef platter for two. The grease and fat added as the best combination to the japanese steamed rice. Excellent restuarant to dine out with friends and families with a few glasses to enjoy the fatty premium beef.

Best of the best. Hida is still regarded the best wagyu in Japan for a reason, it’s simply delicious. This restaurant is not only specialized in Hida beef but also spot on with service and environment. Price I think is very reasonable for its quality and set up. A must visit if you’re in the area!

You gotta go there earlier before 7, there are quotas for each night's dinner. Once you booked the seats I've been wait for 2 hours for But the price is reasonable and the quality is good

We were there before 6pm and was the second last on the wait list. So better come earlier if you want to have the dinner here. We order the platter meant for 2-3 pax. It was more than enough for 3 person, unless you are big eater. The platter has different cuts, all good. You just need simple ingredients to taste the Hida beef... Salt.. and maybe sometimes a little bit of sauce... That's all. Much worth than the one we have for lunch at Maruaki.

Waited 40 minutes, but totally worth it! The local Hida Beef is AMAZING and just melts in your mouth. Fun to cook your own, lots of different combinations of platters to order and service is prompt and efficient when needed. We ended up ordering more - it was so good! The best meal we had on our 12 day trip to Japan was in this restaurant. About 5 minutes walk from the train station and well-worth finding. If you love beef, then this is definitely the place for you. Highly recommended!
