Vermillion cafe - Kyoto
Vermillion - espresso bar & info. , and Vermillion - cafe. (Vermillion = the colour of torii gates) are both located in Fushimiinari, just by the Fushimiinari shrine in Kyoto, Japan.
We use specialty coffee beans roasted locally in Kyoto to brew our espresso coffee at both shops. Our friendly staff speak both English and Japanese to assist customers with directions and recommending places to visit in Kyoto. It is also our hope that each cafe provides great ambience and space for both local and international visitors to relax and enjoy conversation over a cup of coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was lucky enough to happen by this place right when it was opening, and in literally minutes all seats were taken-I managed to get the best spot right above the river. Ample choice of coffee, amazing breakfast options and cool vintage furniture make it an unexpected but welcome find at the end of the hike. Oh and they accept credit card payment!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and quiet cafe hidden beside the shrine area. It has outdoor seats that overlooks a pond and of course indoors as well. If you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the main street this is the cafe to go, especially to warm up in this chilly weather.
