★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A few days ago, I went to Fushimi Inari Taisha on a beautiful spring day. Because of the lockdown, there was hardly anybody there and no foreign tourists—just a few Japanese people and some foreigners that live in Kyoto. I wanted to use the opportunity to take some shots without people. I also wanted to climb Mount Inari and visit the many sub-shrines. I started at 9.00 am and was back down by 1.30 pm. Of course, if you're just hiking you could do it faster. I did take my time, took pictures and enjoyed the cool breeze and sights.
