h	hanna hanna on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a Livy place, a walking distance from Kyoto station, only 7-10 minutes of relaxing walk with kids right in front of the Aquarium ??. Ther are many things on offer for all ages well thought and organized. Worth to make a visit before going to the Aquarium. Enjoy

They have a 20 spot turntable shed and they still fire up one of the engines every day for rides. Also a great selection of electric rolling stock as well. The restaurant on the top floor is also very good as you can watch the Shinkensen fly past every 10-15 mins.

During early spring ,you can see beautiful Sakura flowers, after that they also plants different types of flowers for different seasons. You can see many Japanese family coming to this park for picnics and other recreational activities. You can have mini tram rides. There are a few old trams turned into shop selling drinks and stuff. This is a good place to relax.

A very peaceful park which is amazingly peaceful. Surrounded by the aquarium and the railway museum which has a steam train that runs along the side Of The park. A must see in autumn when the trees start to change colour and drop their leaves
M	Monica Arciga on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great stop for families with children. The playground area is bigger than most I've been to in Kyoto. My 2 and 4 year olds had a great time! As with other playgrounds here however, the lot is all sand so my kids got very dirty from playing in the sand. The playground got quite busy but everyone played nicely. There are benches to sit and small green spaces around the park to have a picnic. The whole park is quite large with other areas to sit, play, or take a walk. If your kids are into trains, there is a nice area with benches to watch trains go by. The Railway Museum and the aquarium are very close by, but we had enough to do with the playground and the train watching. There are 2 restaurants with food for purchase and a couple trolleys converted into stores.

Near kyoto Station with kyoto aquarium and kyoto rail museum make it more beautiful good for people who want jogging relaxing enjoying the quiet environment.
