★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 応和3年(963)に創建と有る。清和源氏の始祖と言われる六孫王源経基をお祀りしている。
ご利益は明快だ！拝殿の前で、本殿に向かい、六孫王大神の名前にちなんで「子孫繁栄」を願う。
鯉が泳ぐ池にかかるは太鼓橋は「鯉の(恋)架け橋」つまり、良縁成就を願って渡る。
そして、この鯉は滝を登って龍となり、つまり「出世開運」を願って龍神拝所で手を合わす。
そして龍になった六孫王が龍神となって「子孫繁栄」まで願っているという。小さなお子様の守り神まで有るよ！
京都駅八条口から徒歩20分程だから行くが良い。但し、行くのなら絶対、桜の時期がお薦めだ！
 It is said to have been built in the 3rd year of Owa (963). It enshrines Minamoto no Tsunemoto, who is said to be the founder of Seiwa Genji.
The benefits are clear! In front of the hall of worship, head to the main hall and pray for "descendant prosperity" after the name of Rokusonno Okami.
The drum bridge over the pond where the carp swims is a "carp (love) bridge", that is, it crosses in the hope of fulfilling a good match.
Then, this carp climbs the waterfall and becomes a dragon, that is, joins hands at the dragon worship place hoping for "good luck".
And it is said that Rokusonno, who became a dragon, becomes a dragon god and wishes for "prosperity of descendants". There is even a guardian deity for small children!
It's a good way to go because it's about a 20-minute walk from the Hachijo exit of Kyoto Station. However, if you go, I definitely recommend the cherry blossom season!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small shrine and quiet place. I visited here in the end of April and enjoyed Sato-sakura being full-blooming. You could hear often steam whistle from outside (^^)/
