The section upstairs is cozy and quieter. You have to take your shoes off.
I got the shrimp tempura with miso soup and pickles, and they provided dressing and sauces.
The pickles were really refreshing and the tempura was crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside. It was a great meal! Only downside is that they don’t fill up your glass of water unless you ask.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An establishment in its own right having opened since 1940. The Japanese food served is simple but not unsophisticated. The sashimi comes straight from the nearby Tsukiji market hence its as fresh as it can be. Other popular Japanese dishes like oyako don, katsu don, yakisoba are also very good. Service is super friendly and efficient. You won't experience any lost in translation as the staff speaks English.??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food. The amount of restaurants in the area can be overwhelming when you first arrive so my husband and I just stumbled upon this place on our first night in Japan. We both left very full.
He got omelette rice and I got tonkatsu donburi. Huge portions!
It's a very nice restaurant with large windows and friendly staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food in very convienient location, within shopping district and just minutes away from local heritage sites. Meals are traditional and delicious, most staff speak english, credit cards are accepted. It is a cosy local like venue, but worth a visit if you are around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there 2 times, once by myself and 2nd time with a friend. Always arrived around 7.45 before they close the line, when there is less people.
I recommend you to take the katsudon, that nice piece of pork with eggs. Theirs is mind blowing, crispy outside and it match perfectly the rice. I was also seated upstairs where you can seat on the floor, really nice experience with lovely waiter.
The second time however was different. Service wasn't as friendly. Katsudon wasn't crispy at all, I'd say bad? Friend took the omelette over rice, i think also average. Putting 4 stars, and I'll come again to put back the 5 stars, because I'm sure they deserve it.

Besides, the owner or manager speaks perfect English.
It's a restaurant that has a menu with traditional Japanese & Western food.
Complementary Fresh Green Tea as much as you like to drink with beautiful Japanese tea cup.
Reasonable price.
Family Friendly restaurant. Friendly environment.
It is highly recommended.
Many foreigners from the different countries work here.
