H	Haruhiko Jimbo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant to enjoy puffer fish with good quality for reasonable price. I recommend you to reserve online, otherwise you have to wait for long sometimes. But don't worry, you can reserve same restaurants, Genpin in Ueno or Kanda. Dinner course starts from ¥3,980 without tax. You should also enjoy fin Sake(ひれ酒) which has very nice flavor. Enjoy your Japan trip!

However it feels much more like a cheaper establishment compared to some others, as staff won't have the time to pay attention to your pot all the time. Also doesn't have proper non-smoking area apparently, had lots of second hand smoke from nearby smoking area.
S	Skyler K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If they haven’t been awarded a Michelin star yet, they should be. Unique six-course experience from experienced fugu chefs for less than $100. The cheapest meal set is about $25. I had a premium meal set with larger pieces of meat and gold flakes, and it came to about $80. First/second course fugu skin sashimi was crisp and refreshing. Loved the onion and vinegar dressing. Third course fried fugu meat was the highlight. Perfectly crunchy, perfectly seasoned. Imagine battered catfish without the trashy aftertaste—flaky flesh with a thin layer of soft connective tissue right before the crispy breading. Fourth course grilled fugu meat was fresh and tasty. One of the waiters came and grilled the meat for me. In my opinion, he overcooked the fish, so if you have any experience grilling, I would recommend just doing it yourself. Fifth course hot pot was also excellent. I enjoyed the taste of the broth, and the texture of the fugu cartilage. Meat was tender and seasoned well. Closing it out, sixth course was a nice rice congee with the remains of the hot pot broth. It was filling and satisfying. Dessert is included (seventh course), but I skipped it due to having to catch a flight. They have one that includes fugu jelly, which I would love to try next time. I also recommend the cocktail which includes fugu jelly. It’s a tasty pairing for the meal.

C	C Lam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to try fugu when we were in Tokyo. Didn't know what the expect, it was a true experience. However, the service of this location left alot to be desired. Our waiter took forever to even greet us and did not smile at all. Other staff were much more attentive and friendly. Overall, it was an okay experience, a once in a life time sort of thing.
T	Tom indo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think is worth to try. I took the set menu with the tenticals, taste nice for the set and taste new and interesting for the tenticals. The ponju sauce is amazing. At first we hesitate to try this restaurant. But i believe you wouldn't regret. Even my wife who are reluctant also said taste good. Specially the hot pot. The soup taste very very good. Creamy crab croquette also nice. Take the set so you can know all the different cooking. Reservation in advance is Recommended. I came without reservation and need to wait for 10 minutes. Enjoy !

Got 9 course meal and wow there a lot of food. We had to tell them to stop with it as it was more than we can handle. Food is flavorful. Try it out.
