A	Anna Pueyo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice beach with calm sea and very clean. Common for locals to have a barbecue on this beach
A	Athol Moore on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We camped here in April. It is a lovely location and we really enjoyed the walk to the top of the mountain (caught the cable car back down). But getting here from the ferry was not convenient - a long walk - and the public bus runs very infrequently. The place has a shuttle bus that regularly runs back and forth from the ferry - but that is only for those staying in the lodge. I would have been willing to pay to use the service. The camping site was adequate, but most of the facilities look rather run down and past their prime. I couldnt find the showers/baths. Camping was good value, but dont expect anything flash.
R	Richard Ramos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beach is not as wonderful as you can read in many guides. It's dirty they are some plastic waste on the sand. The water is not clear and the sand not as white a described everywhere. There is only one restaurant with very few choices . So I agree that its a good option for taking a bath in this warm month of August but don't expect that much because you could be disappointed. Except that the rest of the island is really beautiful.
F	Faisal Idrees on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Couldn't explore the place fully. Just visited the beach. The place is a bit far from Miyagima pier. If you don't have your own conveyance you will need to take the shuttle which costs 300 yen per person, childern are exempted from the fare. The shuttle makes its last trip from the beach around 1735 hrs. The beach isn't as beautiful as it looks in pictures on the internet.
M	Mark Wilkinson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely camp ground on Miyajima. A short cycle or a longish walk around the coast from the Itsukushima shrine and ferries. Delight to wake up on the island, deer foraging and a view out over the oyster farms and toward Hiroshima.
J	Jorg Wiltink on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot and scarce camping possibility in Japan. Great view on Hiroshima. Tents where not what we expected. No flysheet and quite useless with rain. The was fixed by changing tents.
