★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 草壁皇子の墓ではないかと言われています。草壁皇子は天武天皇の子で、後を託されましたが、即位することはなく若くして崩御しました。妻は第43代元明天皇、子に第42代文武天皇、第44代元正天皇がいます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本来の岡宮天皇（草壁皇子）陵ではないかと、思われている古墳です。他の方も指摘されてますが、これと言った場所説明もなく、荒れ放題と言った感じが否めません。岡宮天皇陵が宮内庁管理で整備されているのとは対照的ですね。駐車場も無いので手前の広い道に路駐して歩きました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここは天武天皇の子、草壁皇子の陵墓ではないかといわれる古墳です。神社の境内にあり、神寂びた境内を守るご老人がいらしたので詳しくお話を伺うことができました。 左の狛犬の足元にいる子犬(？)が玉を持っているたいへん珍しいもの。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 束明神古墳は７世紀末の古墳時代末期の古墳とされる。墳丘は尾根斜面を造成し平坦面を造り、そこに一辺３６メートルの八角形の方墳で版築工法で築造されている。古墳の被葬者は過去の調査で採取された歯により青年者か壮年者位と見られる。天武天皇と持統天皇の皇太子であった草壁皇子が最有力視されている。
見学するには村の墓場の横を通り、春日神社の石段を上がった所にあるけど、お墓の横を通るのは少し気味悪い。夕方厳禁！出るかも？？？

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ このマーキングの場所は束明神古墳の場所であり佐田城跡ではない。google運営には連絡しているが相変わらず対応が遅いので先にこちらに佐田城跡に関して記しておくこととする。あくまで城跡としてのコメントであるということを諸君は理解した上で読んで欲しいのだ。城跡は束明神古墳「右」という案内看板があるがそこを右折せずに山に向かって直進する。民家の間を抜けるとするに獣除け用の扉がありそこが登城口である。そこから１０分弱で主郭部想定部には到達するが途上全く整備がなされていない山道であるが故に普通に登るには困難を極める。倒木が多くこういった道に慣れていない方にとっては危険極まりない道である、気をつけたまえ。主郭部とその隣の曲輪は完全に藪化が進んでおりはっきりと曲輪がわからない状態。主郭部手前の切岸がはっきりとわかる唯一の遺構と思われる、が、これもあくまで私見であり実際の遺構かどうかは定かではない。城跡としては見所も少なく、かつ未整備、しかし登城するには困難を極める、よって全くおススメできない城跡であると厳しく断定する。佐田城跡の正しい位置のマーキングも申請中であるがgoogleの対応次第。

The main contour and the curving ring next to it are completely bushified and the curving ring is not clearly visible. It seems that this is the only remains that clearly shows the dyke in front of the main wall, but this is also my personal opinion and it is not clear if this is the actual remains. There are few highlights as a castle ruin, and it is undeveloped, but it is extremely difficult to climb the castle, so it is strictly determined that it is a castle ruin that can not be recommended at all.
