★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute sculpture garden and decent permanent collection. Didn't get a chance to see the special exhibit but many people were going there so perhaps it would be worth a visit next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sculpture area (both inside and outside the building) is well worth the entry fee. They show case the bronze work of a local artist who has impeccable skill in capturing the human form.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely local museum with good collection. It has a very nice cafe/restaurant where locals mostly young women come to have lunch (per our observation). We ended having lovely lunch here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice collection of art. I believe it is a tad overpriced at 1400 yen for a rather small collection of art but there were still some interesting pieces to admire. In total, it took a little under an hour to view every piece. We bought tickets for all the displays. The cost of admission to the main permanent exhibit was only 300 yen. If I did it over again, I'd save the money and just view the main exhibit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very interesting Art Museum, the exhibition is really nice. The most interesting thing is the Sculpture exhibition “CHURYO SATO”, his art work is amazing. His work really make this place worth to visit if you were in Sendai. There a lot of good exhibition from old to new work’s from variety of Japanese artist.
