1621年に伊達政宗が伊勢神宮より分霊、勧請した事を起源とする神社…との事です。
鳥居や社殿に桜があしらってあるのが可愛らしいですね。桜の似合う神社です。府県社格の神社ですが、こじんまりと親しみやすく、参拝者の方々が大勢訪れており良い雰囲気でした。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sakuradai shrine is a tranquil place best to visit during sakura season in April but you can visit it anytime also. Access is very easy using Subway, stop at Omachi Nishi koen station. It is a good place to visit by bicycle as well.
