ま	まっちゃん on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 寺社仏閣とは全く異なる建築美を味わえる。築200年ほどと考えられる、九條家別邸。杉材を多用した数奇屋普請の建物はなんとも言えない軽みがあり、当時の教養人の好みがよく分かる。1階広間や広縁から九條池を望む景色、また2階の縁高欄からの眺めは素晴らしい。昔は東側の樹木が今ほど高くなく、借景として東山を望めたという。また床柱や落掛、蹲や飛び石の一つ一つに至るまで心配りを感じられ、時間を忘れさせてくれる。九条池にかかる高倉橋は明治15年竣工とのことだが、嵐山の渡月橋を思わせる優雅さを醸し出しており、空間の抑えを見事に果たしている。四阿(あずまや)は待ち合い？。中で座っていると、なんともいい気持ちです。訪れた日は五月晴れでしたが、柔らかな雨の降る日に訪れるとまた違った風趣があるんじゃないかな？年末年始を除く木・金・土曜と時代祭、葵祭の日に大人一人わずか 100円で参観出来るので、京都観光で御所に来たなら、ぜひ訪れるべき。 You can taste the architectural beauty completely different from the shrines and temples.
