★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant for Japanese soba noodle with herring. Soba noodle with herring fillet is famous local food of Kyoto, and here is one of the most famous restaurants for the dish in Kyoto. Their building is authentic old Japanese style so you can probably enjoy the atmosphere itself as well. I cannot say its quantity and quality are quite high but overall it is good place for the soba.
