円	円座厚司 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2016年12月の特別公開の時拝観しました。今までも特別公開の時に何度か訪れたことがありますが、普段は予約すれば拝観出来る様です。説明の人がいて丁寧に説明していただきました。聖護院は役の行者が開いた本山修験宗(山伏)の総本山だそうです。宸殿には三体の不動明王像が安置されていてカルラ火炎を探してみましたが、見つける事が出来ず説明の人に教えてもらいました。書院は御所の皇后御殿を移築したものだそうで、重要文化財に指定されています。 I saw it at the time of the special release in December 2016. J	JACKPOT on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 聖護院門跡と言えば、往時は鴨川まで広がる寺域を誇った名門寺院。今はそこまで広大では無いが、綺麗に掃き浄められたお庭やすべて真筆の狩野派の襖絵が見事です。本山修験道と言うことで、不動明王の仏像が多数あって、本堂のお不動さんは目の前まで行って眺めることが出来ます。秋の特別公開ではお寺の職員さんが30分毎に案内してくださるのでより詳しく知る事が出来ます。お土産にお庭の大銀杏から取れる銀杏を買っても良いかも。あと御守り類がとてもお値打ち価格です。 Speaking of the remains of the Shogoin Gate, it is a prestigious temple that once boasted a temple area that stretched to the Kamogawa River. 南	南形浩 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 初めての拝観でしたが、イメージしたよりは小さめな出で立ちです。昔は広大な寺領を持ち、その一角に幕末の京都守護職練兵場が有り京都守護職(会津藩)との関わりが出来たんですね。また聖護院と謂えば修験道の総本山でも有名です。御朱印に認められる梵字「カーン」は山伏の象徴である法螺貝の印と修行の本尊である不動明王を表しているものです。 It was my first time to see it, but it was smaller than I had imagined.
