吉田うどんのお店は大概和風なのですが、ここは店舗が洋風とちょっとオシャレです。
味も美味しいのでオススメです。
 It is a popular Yoshida udon restaurant in the local area.
Most of the Yoshida udon restaurants are Japanese style, but the ones here are Western style and a little fashionable.
I recommend it because it tastes good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 以前、鐘山苑に訪問し、お向かいの｢サファイ屋｣気になっていました。ようやく行ってきました。
口コミチェックしましたが、店構えと店内のギャップがすごい。おまけに、今時の座席の案内がないこと、注文方法、支払い方法、初めて?訪れる利用客は戸惑います！
面白すぎる。
今回、８月１６日、お盆休みの最終日の日曜日１３時頃行きました。
駐車場はなんとか停められた感じです。
写真にある、バー営業時の名残りの席の他にも、靴を脱げる座敷の席も結構ありました。（数あいまいでスイマセン）
地元っぽい人は温うどん注文が多かったようですが、暑かったので冷たぬき。
美味しいか不味いかって言ったら美味しい。
でも、固い！丸亀製麺が好きな私には、コシが強いのと、茹で足りないのと違いがわからない！素人丸出しです。
でも、美味しいに1票。
ホントは、平日限定の冷カレーうどん食べたかったんですよ。チーズも乗ってるっぽかったし、是非食してみたかった一品です。
席は自由、注文票は自らレジに置くだけ。
初見ではわかりにくいですが、地元のお客さんはしれっとして当たり前にやってます。
初めて来店の私はドキドキです。
今度は平日に行きたいです。

This time, I went on Sunday, August 16th, at 13:00 on the last day of Obon vacation.
The parking lot seems to have been parked.
There were quite a few seats in the tatami room where you can take off your shoes in addition to the seats left in the photo when the bar was open. (A few numbers are ambiguous)
It seems that local people often ordered hot udon noodles, but since it was hot, it was cold.
It's delicious if you say whether it's delicious or not.
But it's hard! I like Marugame noodles, so I don't know the difference between being strong and not boiling enough! It is bare amateur.
But 1 vote for delicious.
I really wanted to eat cold curry udon on weekdays only. It seemed like I had cheese on it, so I definitely wanted to try it.
Seats are free, and you can simply place your order slip at the cash register.
At first glance, it's hard to understand, but local customers do so naturally.
I'm thrilled to come to the store for the first time.
Next time I want to go on a weekday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 道沿いに看板が見当たらず最初はわかりずらいかも？内装はバーのようなお店ですがうどんは美味しいです。明太子湯もりうどんを食べましたが美味しかったです。
It may be difficult to understand at first because there is no signboard along the road. The interior is like a bar, but the udon is delicious. I ate Mentaiko Yumori Udon and it was delicious.

山椒ご飯は特別なものを感じられませんでした。
For me who wants to drink udon soup, it was just the right amount of salt. was delicious.
Sansho rice didn't feel special.

吉田うどんらしい食べごたえのある麺で、汁はとっても丁寧に作られた優しい美味しさです。
いつまででも食べていたくなるようなうどんでした。
そしてなんと言っても山椒ごはんが絶品！
大量の山椒の葉を混ぜ込んだごはんで、山椒のさっぱりとした清涼感のある香りとうまみがこんなにごはんと合うのかと驚きました。
細かく刻んだ紅生姜との相性もバッチリです！
店内はとても広く、カウンター席とテーブル席、座敷席があります。
席数もたくさんあってゆったりとした配置なので、一人でも、2-3人の少人数のグループでも、家族連れでもどんな人数でも入りやすいお店だと思います。
オーダー方法は、吉田うどんのお店定番の注文表にオーダーするメニューの数字を書くタイプで、お会計をするカウンターに注文表を置いてオーダー完了です。
吉田うどんのお店はどこも「少ない人数の店員さんと客が協力するから安くて美味しいうどんが食べられる」という感じなので、こちらのお店でも店内に入って店員さんが迎えてくれるわけではなく、席案内などもありませんが、忙しそうに働く店員さんは顔を合わせれば気持ちよい挨拶をしてくれます。
I ordered meat udon and Japanese pepper rice.
The noodles are chewy like Yoshida udon, and the soup is very carefully made and has a gentle taste.
It was a udon that made me want to eat it forever.
And after all, the Sansho rice is excellent!
I was surprised that the refreshing aroma and umami of Japanese pepper would go so well with the rice mixed with a large amount of Japanese pepper leaves.
It goes perfectly with finely chopped pickled ginger!
The inside of the store is very large, with counter seats, table seats, and tatami mat seats.
It has a lot of seats and is spacious, so I think it's easy for anyone, whether it's a single person, a small group of 2-3 people, or a family.
The ordering method is to write the number of the menu to order on the standard order table of Yoshida Udon shop, and place the order table at the checkout counter to complete the order.
Every Yoshida udon shop has a feeling that "a small number of clerk and customers cooperate so you can eat cheap and delicious udon", so this shop does not mean that the clerk will welcome you. There is no seating information, but the clerk who works busy will give a pleasant greeting when you meet each other.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 潰れてそうな店の外観で入口通路にガラクタが散見されるがウドンは旨い。出汁の加減もよく麺も良いコシです。カウンター8席(なぜかバーカウンター)、テーブル席&座敷は多数あり。紙注文で食後精算。セルフ水。しっかり感染症対策できていて内観はキレイ。初見で行くと店がわかりずらく素通りする。砂利駐車場です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall OK for me. The udon noodles and pork on rice dish were both a little bit too sour for my liking. However the handmade udon noodles were good. Can't complain too much for a $6CAD meal. My hubby had the karaage on rice combo, which we both recommend getting.
