★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Get off the train at inuyamayuuen and walk down the picturesque river under cherry trees, up the small hill to the castle. Enjoy the period street and many festivals throughout the year. There is many things to see here at this national treasure. Stone monuments etc. There are dozens of small streetfood vendors down the street too. It is easy to spend a whole day at this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet and calm, located near to the castle, easy to get to, lots of parking spot. From what the local told me this is one people came to make a wish about pregnancy, to have baby, to have a healthy pregnancy things like that. Can't confirm if it's going to work tho

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you climb up hill to Inuyama castle, in the middle there are couple of shrines and this is the most popular one where girls wish for a boyfriend or look for a better relationship. Heart shaped plates with their wishes are hanged a lot there. Also red shrine gate tunnel is small but picturesque.
