仙台市青葉区片平(かたひら)に鎮座する仙台大神宮(せんだいだいじんぐう)
明治4年、三重県の伊勢に神宮教院が開設され、全国を31教区に分けて主要な地に本部を設置しました。
第4教区宮城本部の設立に当たって、伊勢神宮からの御分霊をこの地に祀ったのが仙台大神宮の始まりとされています。
公共交通機関を利用するのが一番ベストですが、お車の方は近隣にコインパーキングもあるのでそちらを利用されると便利だと思います。

In 1873, the Jingu Gakuin was established in Ise, Mie Prefecture, and the headquarters was established in 31 major parishes throughout the country.
When the fourth parish, Miyagi Headquarters was established, the origin of Sendai Daijingu was enshrined in this area with spirits from Ise Jingu.
It is best to use public transportation, but I think that it is convenient if you use a car because there is a coin parking nearby.

この地はかつて茂庭家という仙台藩の重臣の屋敷のあったところで明治になってお伊勢さんが分社されて出来た神社だそうです

It is said that this shrine was built in the Meiji era when Ise-san was spun off from the former residence of the chief retainer of the Sendai clan called the Mobiwa family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「仙台」の名前の由来とされる「千体仏（多数の小さな仏像）」の一部７０４体が保存されている神社です。仙台の地名発祥の地のひとつと解釈されています。
千体仏は仙台城が築城される以前の青葉山に存在した大満寺に奉られていたもので、同時期に千体城という城も存在していました。そのため伊達政宗公は新たに築いた城を千体城から取って仙台城と名付けたとされています。
当時ここは仙台藩家臣茂庭家の屋敷であり、明治時代に丸ごと伊勢神宮の分社として神社化されました。神主様によると千体仏はそれ以前に茂庭家が保管していたもので、神社の由緒とは無関係だそうです。そのため一般公開は神社として慎んでいるそうですが、学術的に見学したい方は一部に限り見せてくれます。
ビルの谷間にある狭い敷地は独特の雰囲気です。境内は清掃されていて小さな庭園もきれいに整備されています。
非常に狭い６台分の無料駐車場があります。

It is a shrine where some 704 of the "Senior Buddhas (a large number of small Buddha statues)" are considered to be the origin of the name "Sendai". It is interpreted as one of Sendai's birthplace.
Thousand Buddhas were dedicated to Daiman-ji Temple, which existed on Aobayama before Sendai Castle was built, and a castle called Thousand Castles also existed at the same time. Therefore, it is supposed that Date Masamune took the newly built castle from Senjo Castle and named it Sendai Castle.
At that time, it was a residence of Sendai 藩 臣 庭, and it was totally converted into a shrine as a branch company of Ise Shrine in the Meiji era. According to the god lord, the Thousand Buddhas were kept by the Moiwa family before that time, and they have nothing to do with the history of the shrine. For this reason, the general public seems to be discouraged as a Shinto shrine, but those who wish to visit scientifically will be shown to a limited extent.
The narrow site in the valley of the building is a unique atmosphere. The precincts are cleaned and the small gardens are in good condition.

私が参拝する時は比較的空いているので、自分のペースで参拝出来て良かった✨駐車場への道が狭いのが難点。

伊勢神宮を本宗と仰ぎ分祀された由緒ある神社、伊勢神宮は国民の総氏神として編まねく人々の信仰を集めているのは周知のところ、明治14年に神宮の御分霊を此の地に勧進したのが、仙臺大神宮の始まりです。現在も『宮城、仙台のお伊勢様』として崇敬されています。近年は、『縁結びの神』としても広まっているそうです。
