四条大橋のたもとの西石垣通りを下った処にあります。言わずと知れた創業三百年を数える名店京料理ちもとの姉妹店で、夜は高級ですが、昼は大変美味しくコスパのよいランチが頂けます。彩点心を頂きましたが、夜の遺伝子が脈々と流れる、彩豊かで、素材を活かし、一手間も二手間もかけた美味しい京料理が頂けます。品数の多い点心料理は、昼のちょい飲みにも最適で、点心からふわふわの名物玉子宝楽、御飯、〆のデザートまで雅を感じる空間でゆったりとした時間が流れます。京都を味わえるお店だと思います。

近くにある京料理の料亭の味をカウンターでひとりからでも味わえるお店のようです。 平日ランチ。予約なしのひとり利用でした。 予約なしでも入れましたが通常の懐石コースではなく1番安い点心コースのみとのことでした。 後から予約なしできたお客さんは断られてたので、平日でも予約して行くのがいいみたいです。 料理はとても丁寧に作られていて、京料理のエッセンスを楽しめました。 オリジナルの卵宝楽はふわふわスフレ状の茶碗蒸しみたいな感じ。 具は百合根と椎茸が少しだけ入ってますがほぼ卵のみ。 ちょっと甘口ですがおいしくいただきました。 人手が少なめなのかお客さんの対応が少しそっけないかなとも感じましたが、カウンターの料理人さんたちも調理の合間にできる範囲で気を使ってるのが見てとれて印象は悪くありませんでした。 ただ料理が出てくるまでに少し時間がかかったのは残念。 まあこちらが飛び込みで入ったので贅沢は言えませんが。 とはいえ3000円そこそこでこれだけのお料理をいただけて大満足でした。 機会が有ればランチのコースや夜の利用もしてみたいですね。

It's a pity that it took a while for the food to come out. Well, I can't say luxury because I jumped in here. However, I was very happy to have this much food for 3000 yen. Quiet place serving authentic Kyoto kaiseki. Chefs were friendly and happy to chat - with the help of trusty Google Translate. A nice and warm place to celebrate our wedding anniversary, for which they duly noted in advance and served “sekihan” - red rice traditionally eaten during celebrations.
