★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really impressed with the flavors and freshness of the food! We ordered several items and were impressed with each of them. The tomato-tofu salad with soy dressing was absolutely delicious, with exceptionally sweet tomatoes. The lunch combo with salmon was stellar, as was the eggs and toast. The prices range from medium to medium-high, but the food is well worth the money.
The cafe ambiance is nice and contemporary, and the service was very friendly. It did take some time for the food to come out, so perhaps not best if you’re in a hurry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really cool Western style breakfast place with great design. Prices are on the medium/high side, but all of the dishes are really stunning (see attached pictures).
Eggs with bright orange yolks are the specialty, and there are some great breakfast sets on the menu. If you're anywhere nearby in Gion, this place is absolutely worth checking out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and comfortable interior space with tall ceiling. Outdoor seating is available. This place offers both Japanese and western breakfast. Food is fresh and tasty. We want to come back and try the lunch menu and dessert.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The carbonara was absolutely delicious! The best I've ever had! My husband and I stumbled upon the place and liked the atmosphere but we were amazed by the food! We aren't here in Kyoto for too long but I'm already planing to go back to this place to try more! The apple pie was also tasty. Not too sweet like most pies. Glad we found this place by luck!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great breakfast toast, coffee, and salad. Their salads are huge, so be aware. They have a pretty extensive menu: curry, sandwiches, salads, breakfast plates, and a variety of drinks and desserts. The atmosphere is also quite nice. I’ll come again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice japanese breakfast/lunch place near kiyomozu dera.
I got the obanzai set which is brown rice with 6 simmered vegetables and grilled salmon. I love the grilled salmon it has a certain nice smell when you eat it. Also ordered a tamagoyaki (japanese omelette) as a side dish.
