★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do you want to see a cash register from 1918 and a clock from 1921? Maybe? Well, this place has more than that. The owner and host is a very kind and friendly man. He'll even offer you a map and let you park your bike here while you go visit the temples nearby. The coffee is also excellent. My experience with coffee in Japan was not so so good until I found this place. All around a neat little place along your tourist route.

Decent coffee and desserts, friendly staff. When we went there was construction going on which made it harder to appreciate the surroundings.
Full of cool antiques and nick-knacks.
You can also make your own gel candles there if thats your thing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A café with old furniture from several different countries including France and England. This gives it a vintage but very comfortable feeling. Great food and coffee for affordable prices! I especially recommend the breakfast set with drink, pastrami sandwich and small salad (until 10 o'clock).
