★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always come alone, but I never feel alone sitting at the counter, all the staff are awesome, the ipad ordering is super easy, the beef tendon bowl is absolutely incredible, and the prices are very good. Thank you for everything!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't be intimidated as an English speaker, this place is amazing. The menu is on an iPad and the staff were wonderful. The food is top notch with the beef and kimchi stew being a standout.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, the latest update is that we think the soup has returned to its formal glory. Thick and flavorful with a lof collagen. We are believers and will return again. Very good ipad ordering system with english menu and pictures. Cant go wrong here.
We had a so-so visit. The soup is still thick but very starchy and no longer tastes of collagen that only comes after hours of careful cooking. Yakitori is tasty but some dishes are prepared with less meticulous details. Still good but not as good as before.
The chicken hotpot rivals the best I ever had but costing just a fraction; thick, full body, and full of flavour. We could not forgive oursleves if we didnt order a second pot. The yakitori is also amazing. We had a bite of the chicken gizzard and knew we hit a home run coming here. Chicken wings are must orders. Friendly staff and english menu. Doesnt get better!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A superb izakaya. The food was delicious and the staff very professional and friendly. We took eight different dishes and two beers each the check was around 7000 yen. The stewed beef was the best thing we ate under our entire Japan trip.
