美人シェフは人柄も素敵で、料理の腕もイイです。
最近はワインのラインナップが豊富となり、リーズナブルなグラスワインから知名度のあるボトルまで揃えています。
また、お酒が好きな人向けに、おつまみ的な料理もありあり、立ち寄る頻度が増えちゃいました。

2週間前にお邪魔しました。
ワインをいただいておつまみ程度に食事を。
常連さんがお越しになって、
初めての私でも店主と三人で楽しくお話しできました。
ワインも食事も良いですよ。
ちょっと、しゃべりすぎたかな？（笑）

店長さんが女性でニコニコしているから?
座席数がカウンター4席
テーブル席が2つで4席の合わせて8席の小さな可愛いワインのお店
お料理がまたまた、美味しいです。
ワインのお店で変わりダネは『餃子』是非‼️オススメ。
餃子の中のアンはパテを作りながら、閃いたそうで。
次はパテを食べたくなる様なお味。
そして、ワインを飲んだ後は皿いっぱいのカラメルを焦がしたバニラエッセンスが広がるブリュレ。
是非、一度大切な方と一緒に?

ワインに関して無知な私でしたが、気軽に質問に答えてくださいましたし、料理に合うワインもさりげなくおすすめくださいました。
前菜、餃子もワインに合うように作られていて、クリームチーズの味噌漬けはちびちびとしつこいくらい時間をかけてワインを飲みながらつまんでいました。
そしてカスレはせっかくそれに合うワインをおすすめいただいたのですが、夢中で料理だけ食べ切ってしまいました。笑
御店主のサービス面での評価を厳しく指摘されてる方もいらっしゃいますが、お一人で切り盛りされているので料理をする時のお顔とサービスをされる時のお顔が切り替わるのだと思います。
私はまた京都に来たら寄らせていただきます。
今度はちゃんとワインを楽しみつつカスレをゆっくりとつまませていただきます。

I will drop by when I come to Kyoto again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came across this tiny little restaurant by accident. There's no English menu but it was so cute and the chef looked like she knew what she was doing so we just winged it. We had the beef and the duck and it was amazing!!! I would definitely go back again!! 5 stars!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family visited Nara during cherry blossom season , all the way from Canada. Me and my daughter are vegetarians , but my husband is not, so we were looking for a place that can offer all of us a good lunch. We had a great lunch at Nico, the pizza we served was very tasty , made with fresh ingredients, and the owner is the friendliest person we met in Japan. He personally made sure our lunch at his restaurant is a pleasant one, and we left impressed and satisfied. Highly recommend this place when you are in beautiful Nara. It is conveniently close to the Nara train station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here by myself. The owner treated me so well. She took delicate care of the food, and is extremely diligent about caring for wine. I was not surprised she is a sommelier. I would highly recommend this place as the food is excellent, and the wine selection is superb. In addition, the atmosphere is very comforting. I do not speak Japanese, and she was so sweet to use a translator with me. I felt very welcome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled across this tiny and charming little place, which seems to get overlooked by a lot of passers by. The owner is very kind and friendly, and seems to run everything by herself. Attentive, but not overbearing.
The food was delicious, and well within the expected price range for foreign food of this quality in Japan.
Everything is clean and well presented, and it's clear that a lot of care is taken over everything here
Highly recommend Nico, and would eat here again.
